Erin & Griffin | The One with all the Snow
The weather called for snow and lots of it. Many prayed the heavy snow would hold off so that all could go as planned for Erin and Griffin. I, on the other hand, selfishly prayed that it would snow throughout the day. I've photographed weddings with snow on the ground, but never with all that fresh beauty coming down from the sky.
What happened? IT SNOWED!!
The day was spent rushing in and out of Hope Chapel. We took photos while the snow was falling. The people, the snow, the scene, the time...ugh, it was all so beautiful, I kept squealing. (For those unaware, I make sound effects when I'm taking photos. Leave me alone...it's not a crime.)
Erin looked like a magic Snow White and Griffin was beaming from ear to ear all day. These two spent the day loving on each other and being celebrated by their family and closest pals. I just love how much these two love each other. It was an absolute delight to photograph their day!
Yes, you're lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft
On this day
I give you my heart,
That I will walk with you,
Hand in hand
Wherever our journey leads us
Off with their coats!
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Kale...
now that they're hitched, it's time to celebrate!
You know those chicken and waffles are calling your name...
Here they come!
After the newlyweds drove off to start their new adventure together, they made a little pitstop. I met Erin and Griffin at a nearby park so we could truly make some delightful snowy portraits...and delightful snowy portraits they were indeed.
